After having recently finished his own headlining tour, Active Child aka Pat Grossi is about to hit the road with his indie electro pop gospel tunes, supporting dreamy electronic act M83. The choirboy-turned-musician will begin his tour October 28 in Washington, D.C., but not without playing CMJ 2011 first.
 
Active Child’s debut album, You Are All I See (Vagrant), has been earning rave reviews from several critics, and for good reason. Grossi’s vocals are heartbreakingly charming and they meld so well with his heavy synth-pop melodies, making him the perfect accompaniment to M83 without being too similar.
