College Radio Mixer

Kick off the first day of CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival with your college and community radio peers at this station-only meet-and-greet hosted by NZ Music Commission. This is a great opportunity to meet show-going buddies and to learn about—and learn from—fellow station members, because, hey, there’s strength in numbers (see “Saving College Radio“). Snacks and refreshments will be provided. You must be affiliated with a college or community station to attend. This is an 18+ event.

KEXP At CMJ

Wednesday, October 19, at the Ace Hotel
Seattle’s top tastemaker and lead college radio station, KEXP, is once again setting up shop in New York City to broadcast live sessions with CMJ performing artists. Broadcasts will happen Wednesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but college radio festival-goers are invited to stop by on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. for a special presentation from KEXP staff and to watch a recording session in progress.
