With more than 15 years experience in advertising and publishing, Todd Weinberger is currently the creative director of Inked, which offers a fresh, luxury-minded take on tattoo culture. Five years ago, he was hired to redesign and relaunch the brand’s namesake magazine, and he has since founded two spin-off magazines and 4 international editions; developed the company’s apps, e-commerce site, and multiple special-interest publications; and launched an in-house design studio that creates marketing programs and original advertising for clients such as Jägermeister, Sailor Jerry, Stetson, and Scion.
Prior to Inked, Todd served as the creative director for a luxury regional magazine and was a senior art director for Gyro Worldwide (now Quaker City Mercantile), where he worked on national print campaigns and branding for Winston, Camel, Puma, Glenfiddich, and Hendrick’s Gin.
Todd, who was featured this year as a judge on Spike TV’s Ink Master, also serves on the board of directors of the Society of Publication Designers (SPD), and his work has received multiple awards from that group as well as the American Institute of Graphic Arts. He lives in Brooklyn, NY, with his partner, Jenn, a beauty director at a national magazine, and his fish Flash and Snappy. When he’s not organizing parties and events for SPD or working on Inked, he spends his time traveling and contemplating his next tattoo.
