Head of International Music Licensing, Google Play
Currently at Google, Sami heads the international music licensing function for Android responsible for building relationships with labels, publishers and societies. Before Google, Sami lead licensing for Nokia’s Comes With Music service, which was the fastest roll-out of any digital music service. Previously Sami served in various executive capacities with BMG, including as SVP of New Media and Business Development. He was also President of DiscLive and an attorney at the law firm Jenner & Block.
Sami has a degree from the Helsinki School of Economics, an MBA from UCLA, and a JD from NYU.
