With a BA in economics from the University of Chicago + London School of Economics and a Masters in music business from NYU, Karl is well equipped to sift through large amounts of data to help RCA identify new talent. Prior to joining the RCA A&R staff, Karl was a marketing consultant to Nike 6.0 (action sports) and worked in the Creative Services department at Topspin where he had the opportunity to help build and service “direct to consumer” campaigns for a roster of clients that include Paul McCartney, Beastie Boys, My Morning Jacket, Fleet Foxes, Widespread Panic, Interpol, and Odd Future.
