The Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section (“EASL”) of the New York State Bar Association is comprised of more than 1,700 members representing the varied interests within the entertainment, arts and sports industries at every level, including national and international firms, senior legal and business affairs executives, and counsel at multinational media corporations. EASL’s Music and Recording Industry Committee seeks to educate both legal
practitioners and non-lawyers on the complex and ever-evolving issues that arise in the music industry. The Committee understands the need to foster discussion of not just the legal issues, but also the intertwined business issues that confront music industry professional on a daily basis. This Committee, Co-Chaired by Christine Pepe, Esq. (ASCAP) and Keenan Popwell, Esq.
