Last night, The Rockshop in Brooklyn was transformed into a breeding ground for jangly scuzz-pop lovers discovering even more jangly scuzz-pop. NYC’s Throw Vision’s immersive electro-soul warmed up the crowd for striped-shirt-loving foursome Pretty And Nice, who played a set like a noise collage of good feelings. They were also, both pretty and nice.
Closing out the night was St. Louis quartet So Many Dynamos, whose set was somehow simultaneously chaotic and calming; something to do with their please-love-me style of electronic dance-punk, we think. Our photographer Chris Becker was in the crowd and hob-nobbing with the bands. You can check out the fruits of his labor below.
