Patti Smith paid tribute to Andy Warhol on Friday night at New York’s Metropolitan Museum Of Art, playing a selection of covers and original material relating to and inspired by the iconic 20th century artist. The performance was presented alongside the museum’s ongoing exhibit, Regarding Warhol: Sixty Artists, Fifty Years. With help from like-minded friends and collaborators, Smith celebrated the artist’s legacy and his continued influence on art and music. All photos by Adela Loconte.
