The Panache showcase at Public Assembly took over two stages at the venue and offered a lot of options for fans of garage-rock, jangle-pop and punk. If you wanted to see or hear guitars, you were in the right place. Melbourne’s Twerps played a high energy set, while Nashville’s Turbo Fruits brought a little Southern-rock grit to the Brooklyn venue. Other performers included Levek, Dent May, Mac DeMarco, Gap Dream, Violent Bullshit, Dignan Porch, Vockah Redu, X-Ray Eyeballs and more. Our photographer Jessica Cullen was running back and forth between these sets, catching all the big riffs, big beats and big hair of the night.
