The Global Citizen Festival took place at Central Park on Saturday night, celebrating achievements made towards ending extreme poverty and also featuring some of the biggest names in music. Rock legend Neil Young headlined the event with the recently reunited Crazy Horse, while the Foo Fighters played a raucous set, reportedly one of their last shows for a while. The free event was hosted by the Global Poverty Project and was attended by over 6,000 fans. Performers also included the Black Keys, Southern-rock revivalists Band Of Horses and Canadian rapper/singer K’Naan. All photos by Adela Loconte .
