Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl’s music-making project, the Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger, stopped by Rough Trade in Williamsburg this past weekend for some Saturday afternoon riffage. The band played a 45-minute set consisting mainly of tracks from its recently released, anthemic sunny-soul album, Midnight Sun (Chimera Music).

Though the record store/bar/music venue wasn’t too crowded, a good amount of people showed up to groove to the band’s ’70s throwbacks with a drop of Aughts-y wooziness. And the loyal GOASTT fanbase still had more than enough room to swing their elbows…or a cat.
