After days 1 and 2 of Austin City Limits Music Festival this past weekend, Zilker Park filled up once again with Texans and non-Texans alike hoping for cooler weather and equally cool music—and they weren’t disappointed. Not only did Franz Ferdinand and Phoenix prove their fest cred once again, but smaller acts like Divine Fits and the Wild Feathers managed to rile up anyone within hearing distance. Atoms For Peace headlined the final night, and just like at their recent show at the Barclays Center, Thom Yorke and friends wowed the crowd. Maybe they were celebrating because yesterday was Yorke’s 45th birthday.
