10:00am Keynote Address: Martin Tobias, Loudeye.com

10:45am Forum: Virtual Highways & Real Buyways: Sales & Distribution in the new Digital Economy
Now that bricks and mortar stores can offer prices competitive with e-tailers, what will the new sales landscape look like? How can labels and executives meld existing systems of commerce with new technology (clicks and mortar)? How are labels, artists and distributors adapting to the daily ebb and flow? Personnel from either side of the computer discuss what is and what will be, and how the shift will affect the end-user: the consumer.
Moderator: Alicia Rose, NAIL Distribution
Panelists: Jeff Duchman, RealNetworks; Danny Goodwin, Supertracks; Kanth Gopalpur, Djangos; David Kaill, Microsoft; Tim Ziegler, HearMusic/Starbucks

12:15 Lunch:
ChangeMusic Seattle provides lunch, and an opportunity to stroll around the exhibit area between panels. A sandwich and a schmooze - perfect together!

1:30pm Forum: Crosstown Traffic: Marketing on the Web
How can traditional marketing personnel learn to use the Web for promotion? What works, what doesn't? What new concerns are raised in virtual marketing? What legal concerns exist? ChangeMusic's panel of experts talk about the crucial importance of reaching your audience, no matter whether the vehicle they're driving in is actual or virtual.
Panelists: Chrisitna Eichelberger, BMG; Scott Hunter, Earjam.com; John Jeffrey, Live365.com; Kerry Murphy, RealNetworks; Gene Pao, FirstLook.com

2:45pm: Breakout Session (45 minutes):
Following the Sales & Distribution and Marketing panels, our ChangeMusic Seattle registrants have the opportunity to apply what they've absorbed from the panels. The group breaks into smaller groups ("cells"), and creates a comprehensive marketing plan for an actual ChangeMusic Seattle performing artist. The panelists work as cell leaders, advising and guiding the discussion. At the end of the session, each cell presents to another and discusses their various ideas.

3:45pm Forum: Ancient To The Future: What Music Business Models Will Look Like In The Future
The year 2000 isn't just the beginning of a new millennium, it's also the year in which traditional record labels have to adjust business strategies and models to adapt to the consumers' demand for music delivered how they want it. What does the future hold? Moderator: Mark Thomas Rinzel, Digital Music Weekly
Panelists: John O'Brien, HearMusic/Starbucks; Philip S. Corwin, Virtualaw LLC; Andrew Keen, SLO Media; Steve Wood, Djangos

5:00pm Cocktails:
