CMJ Spring Semester Graphic Design/Web Intern [posted 11/09/09]

A design/web intern is needed for the Spring semester. Among many customary, sometimes tedious tasks, the intern will work closely with CMJ's in-house art director on various projects including design/layout of CMJ New Music Report print and web publication, marketing materials for CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival, web graphics, daily email blasts, maintenance of the CMJ website, and much more.

You must be able to receive college credit and work in our offices a minimum of two days per week. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is essential. Knowledge of Dreamweaver and HTML is preferable.

CMJ Spring Semester Editorial Interns [posted 11/09/09]

The CMJ Network is looking for editorial interns for the spring semester. You must be able to receive college credit and work in our offices a minimum of two days per week. Duties will include working closely with our News Editor to write and report for CMJ.com, as well as assisting editors for our monthly and weekly publications. Qualified candidates have had reporting experience, some html knowledge and a passion for independent music. Fact checking and college radio experience a plus!
