CMJ Fall Semester Design/Web Intern [posted 06/25/09]
A design/web intern is needed for the Fall semester. Among many customary, sometimes tedious tasks, the intern will work closely with CMJ's in-house art director on various projects including design/layout of CMJ New Music Report print publication, marketing materials for CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival, web graphics, daily email blasts, maintenance ofthe CMJ website, and much more.
Interested applicants absolutely must be in-office two to three days per week and proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver--a knowledge of Dreamweaver, HTML, and CSS is preferable.
Consideration will only be given to individuals receiving college credit in exchange for a work environment that optimizes free individual talent, while providing a great deal of artistic growth and experience.

CMJ Fall Semester Editorial Interns: [posted 06/25/09]
The CMJ Network is looking for editorial interns for the Fall semester. You must be able to receive college credit and work in our offices a minimum of two days per week. Duties will include working closely with our News Editor to write and report for CMJ.com, as well as assisting editors for our monthly and weekly publications. Qualified candidates have had reporting experience, some html knowledge and a passion for independent music. Fact checking and college radio experience a plus!
Candidates must submit a cover letter, resume, three recent writing clips and their top five albums of the year to Michael Tedder, assistant Editor at mtedder@cmj.com with the subject INTERNSHIP.
