Venues Of Note
Théâtre Des Bouffes Du Nord

This theater is more a place where you go to see plays, but it also hosts some music shows and festivals. It’s not only an incredibly beautiful venue, but it also brings power to the most fragile music and magic to melodies. Recently I saw Tinariwen play there, the Tuareg desert blues band from the Sahara. For two hours I felt like I was away somewhere between Djanet and Tessalit, in the desert.

La Piscine

A big Parisian bistro in my neighborhood, with an industrial feeling in the decorating, lots of different exhibitions and traditional French cuisine. It’s a place that feels like home.
