I definitely have the feeling that something’s going on. New grounds are being broken, new rules set. Maybe it’s because of the times we’re living in, mixed together with new generations appearing on the scene. I don’t know, I hope so. I feel like a more punky kind of attitude is on its way—I mean that in a state of mind kind of way, not musically. I hear new interesting house and techno acts and different solo artists doing it their way. Perhaps the band thing has been something of a less interesting thing lately—maybe that’ll change with the new energy.
