DJ Mehdi died while celebrating his birthday in Paris this week. The death was reportedly an accident and was caused when the roof of Mehdi’s Parisian home collapsed. Mehdi was a member of the French electro-dance collective Ed Banger and hugely influential in the European dance scene.
