Bands Worth Watching

The Chaingang Of 1974

The Chaingang of 1974 are a band who opened for us on one of our North American tours. They’re an electro-pop/shoegaze group originally from Denver who are located here in Los Angeles. After that tour, we became really good friends with them and had the opportunity to see them recently performing new material at a venue called Bardot. They just released the single, Miko, from their upcoming record. Very cool!

Big Black Delta

Big Black Delta is an incredible band from out here. I’d love to see more of their shows but never have enough of an opportunity! They’re a very heavy electronic and rock-influenced band. They kind of have a Does It Offend You, Yeah? meets Death From Above 1979 feel. I don’t think I can adequately present their music in enough words, so I’d recommend you listen to the track X22 and watch the video for it. Gruesome.

NO is one of my favourite bands right now and have a somewhat folky/alt/electric vibe. They’re our neighbours in the area of Echo Park. We’ve been fortunate enough to see them live a couple of times now, and can’t wait for the release of their record. Check out the song Another Life, I promise you won’t be disappointed!
