Bands Worth Watching
I first heard Butter when I bought their album Removable Beast on a whim from a post I saw online. It’s been one of my most consistently played albums for the past two years, full of haunting lyrics and beautiful harmonies in the best way possible.
Somewhat of a legend in these parts, Tom has been playing music in Montana for years, yet people can’t get enough of him—including myself. Some of the best authentic original Americana you’ll find anywhere, or as Tom calls it, “unpopular country.” You’re going to have to learn to swing dance. Always a pleasure to watch.
Though recently up and moving to Texas, for the past five years these guys have proved themselves as a band to watch for and listen to. Though no longer playing in town, they still play Missoula music at heart. Listen for it.
