London will always be London in the sense that it’ll always have the underground shit pits in East that only four people know about and put on bands that reckon once more that four people like you, you’re irrelevant. Y’know like laptop-yielding graphics students who learned how to make a beep loop on Logic then all of a sudden the NME
is branding them geniuses. But in recent months I’ve noticed more bands writing actual songs. Which is pleasant.
