New Track From Chomp

Chomp, the new project of Cloud Nothings and Total Babes guitarist Joe Boyer, Jayson Gerycz (Cloud Nothings) and Chris Brown (Total Babes), has released a new track from its upcoming debut album, Buddha Jabba Momma. The whole thing comes out September 18 on Exit Stencil, but in the meantime, check out the new track “Fresh Wounds” and tour dates below.

Having played around 100 shows this year already, Brooklyn-based rockers the Men will be hitting the road again this fall. On the new tour, the band will play songs from both its latest album, Open Your Heart, as well as tracks from that album’s follow-up, which was recorded this past spring up in Big Indian, NY. Maps And Atlases Announce Fall Tour, Cover Contest

In support of their recent sophomore album, Beware And Be Grateful, math-poppers Maps And Atlases will be continuing their U.S. tour into late September. The extension will begin August 11 with a set at Summerfest in Columbus, OH, and wrap up September 28 in South Bend, IN.

The group is also having a video contest for its song “Fever,” where participants are invited to cover the track on video and upload it to YouTube. Two winners will be selected, one by the fans and one by the band, and the winners will receive a new Fender guitar. Below is a video explaining the contest in more detail and the new tour dates.
