It’s the third day of CMJ Music Marathon and the third day of Panel Beater, CMJ’s daily guide to the panels at this year’s festival. Shake off that sleepiness from last night’s party by engaging with some of the brightest folks in the industry at our set of panels. Today you can find out how branded placement works, advice on getting a tattoo, the state of contemporary record labels, how to make music for video games and so much more.

CMJ is also introducing Silver Boardroom Meetings as a new part of the programming at this year’s festival. These events offer the unique opportunity for aspiring executives to engage in a boardroom meeting environment. Each meeting will have two well-established industry professionals running an agenda in their own style. Attendees will be challenged to think, share and generate ideas pertaining to the topic at hand. Details of today’s Silver Boardroom Meetings can be found below. Pre-registration is required. Sign up for any remaining slots at the CMJ Desk in the CMJ Registrant Lounge.

Today is College Day at CMJ Music Marathon. College Day offers an opportunity for the folks behind college and community radio to come together and stir things up. The day brings radio-centric panels, exclusive performances from Australian artists and the unique chance to mix and mingle with fellow radio and industry members. Head here to check out the full College Day schedule.

Our selections below only scratch the surface of what’s on offer. Make sure you also check out our full panels page and add events to your schedule over here.
